Queen’s award Royal Reception

Autoflame Engineering was delighted to attend the Queen’s Awards reception at Buckingham Palace on the 12th of July 2022.

On behalf of the company, Dave Webzell, Production Technical Manager of Autoflame Engineering, attended the reception in the presence of His Royal Highness, Charles, the Prince of Wales. Also in attendance was Princess Royal, while representing the government was Kwasi Kwarteng MP, the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are among the most prestigious business awards in the World, recognising and celebrating business excellence. This award, part of the Innovation category, was in recognition of the Exhaust Gas Analyser (EGA) developed by Autoflame Engineering.   The EGA monitors flue emissions to comply with environmental regulations and help to reduce fuel usage & emissions.

This is the fourth time that Autoflame Engineering has been recognised and honoured by the Awards, having been previously successful in 1996, 1997 & 2007.

Dave Webzell, Production Technical Manager of Autoflame Engineering commented, “It was a great honour to be in the presence of His Majesty – Charles, the Prince of Wales. So many great UK businesses were being honoured. Having Royal recognition of our latest achievement inspires the whole Autoflame Engineering team to push the boundaries even higher.”
