Autoflame Engineering Ltd was formed in 1972 and were very soon a leading boiler/burner service company to the commercial and industrial sectors. The success of the Company has been built year on year by an ability to anticipate the future requirements of the commercial boiler industry.

The development of microprocessors at the end of this decade led Autoflame to design the world’s first computerised combustion management systems, a divergence which
revolutionised the industry and paved the way for Autoflame to become a global brand. Autoflame Micro-Modulation systems are now specified as standard equipment in the boiler rooms of some of the most prestigious companies worldwide.
These devices not only have proved to be a huge source of fuel saving, but have also drastically reduced the emission of harmful gases. Over the years, the technology has been continually improved upon and new features have been added, keeping Autoflame at the very leading edge of this exciting technology.
The Company currently holds seven Worldwide patents on products designed and manufactured in house, and is the proud holder of The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the categories of Export Achievement (1996), Environment (1997) and Innovation (2007).
