Autoflame has decided to become a key sponsor to The University of Bristol’s 2015 Green Impact Awards. The environmental behaviour change program called Green Impact features over 80 teams. Staff and students have implemented thousands of simple sustainable actions from recycling and saving energy to volunteering and encouraging biodiversity.
“As a very green company, we thought this was a nice opportunity to reach out to the university, the city of Bristol, and the larger environmental community,” said Franky Scott, Head of Autoflame UK Development. “It seems like a good fit for us. Our boiler management systems reduce carbon footprint, which is also the goal of this award.”
Autoflame has worked closely with the University, carrying out boiler house upgrades at 5 of their sites over the last 18 months. The most recent site, Medical School, is using Autoflame’s newly released Mini Mk8 Controller.
